Our Work
Every classroom has potential. Every teacher deserves support.
Every student deserves a chance to thrive.
Equipping classrooms. Transforming futures.
How We Operate
Classroom Care Jamaica operates under a transparent, organization-led giving model designed to maximize impact, accountability, and trust. Our approach ensures that every dollar donated goes directly toward supporting Jamaican classrooms with essential resources and teaching materials.
Our Process:
From Need to Impact
1. Project Identification
We identify schools and teachers through outreach, referrals, and partnerships with educational organizations across Jamaica. Priority is given to schools with limited access to resources, particularly those in rural and underserved communities.
2. Project Approval & Posting
Each project request is carefully reviewed to ensure alignment with our mission and feasibility. Once approved, projects are published on our website with clear, itemized budgets and detailed descriptions of the classroom needs.
3. Donor Contributions
Donors contribute to specific school projects posted on our platform. Contributions can be made in any amount, and donors receive updates on the project’s progress and impact.
4. Procurement & Delivery
Once a project is fully funded, Classroom Care Jamaica purchases the requested supplies from approved vendors, including local Jamaican suppliers whenever possible. Supplies are then delivered directly to the school, ensuring accountability and proper use.
5. Proof of Impact
Schools provide photos, acknowledgments, and confirmation of receipt. These updates are shared with donors to demonstrate transparency and the tangible impact of their contributions.
Our Pilot Program
Classroom Care Jamaica is currently in the pilot phase of operations. During this phase, we are building partnerships with schools and educators, testing our operational model, demonstrating impact through initial projects, and preparing for growth to support more schools across Jamaica.
What We Support
Our projects focus on providing essential classroom resources and teaching materials. Examples include books and reading materials, stationery and school supplies, science and math equipment, classroom furniture and storage, technology and learning aids, and art and physical education materials.
Why Our Model Works
Our organization-led giving model provides accountability, efficiency, transparency, and local support. Donors know exactly where their money is going, we reduce administrative burden on schools, every project includes detailed updates, and we source supplies from local vendors whenever possible.
Looking Ahead
While we are currently in our pilot phase and not yet actively fundraising at scale, we are working diligently to finalize our 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and prepare for full-scale operations. Once approved, we will expand our reach, launch more projects, and provide even greater support to Jamaican classrooms.
